4.5 stars My love for Finn wasn t going to stop I could tell myself and others I wasn t in love with Finn It was all lies I d buried that love deep, shoving it down whenever it threatened to appear, but it was still there It had always been there Letters to Molly is the second book in Devney Perry s Maysen Jar series I was equal parts nervous and excited to read this This book is about a divorced couple and I was anxious to see how it would work out and how it would make me feel I shouldn t have been, I ended up loving it even than the first Molly and Finn meet through Finn s sister and Molly s BFF Poppy They hit it off right away and end up dating and falling in love That leads to marriage, two kids, and a pretty great life Their marriage isn t perfect, no ones is, but when Poppy s husband is killed things start to fall apart Even though Molly did something some would consider the deal breaker for the marriage, I honestly felt like it was equally both of them No matter who was at fault, they ve been divorced for years and it s obvious after all those years, they re both still very much in love with one another Molly never thinks much of it She s not moved on, she ll always love Finn but she knows she ll never have him again Then, one day, a letter shows up in her mailbox One written by Finn to her many years ago Finn wrote the letter, but he wasn t the one who sent it to her Both Finn and Molly try to figure out wh...

Oh my gosh Devney Perry does it again She takes a trope that I am usually hard set against and turns it into a work of art that I can t help but love Letters to Molly is one of the most painfully, beautiful romances I ve read Divorced, Molly and Finn have found a place where they can exist together with their children in a healthy and loving way But one night after too much wine, they find themselves stumbling out of bed the next morning, both in turmoil over the night before It should have never happened They have the children to worry about They can never let this happen again Except it does Repeatedly And neither of them are fighting it God, I never thought I d get to see this What I whispered You Naked on my bed More beautiful than the day we met Rather than a book that shows the deconstruction of a relationship as it takes place, we are given letters that someone is mysteriously leaving for Molly to find Letters written by Finn throughout the years of their marriage Letters that force them to deal with issues they ignored while married Letters that are both beautiful and heartwarming as well as sharp and painful They highlight the beginning of love as well as th...

4.5 STARS ARC Generously Provided by Author My eyes fell shut, my breath stolen by the sensation of him filling the voids I d ignored for so, so long Here, in this place, everything made sense Nothing was careless Here, together, it was like going backward in time We traveled to the days when those letters were being penned To when happiness radiated around us LETTERS TO MOLLY is the bittersweet and angsty second chance romance between Molly and Finn Alcott, who you may remember from THE BIRTHDAY LIST They re Poppy s big brother and best friend sister in law, whose marital woes were just beginning as Poppy was finding new love We are reunited with the couple who have been divorced for about six years Molly and Finn have found a way to get past the animosity for the sake of their two children who they share custody of It s been six years since they ended their marriage Irreparable damage has been inflicted but yet neither has been able to move on to new love Everyone else can see the longing looks they cast each other s way but these two are too stubborn to let go of the past. After a night of movies with the kids and a little too much wine, Finn and Molly end up having an incredible night of sex, but the harsh light of day has them both backpedaling and declaring their night of lust a mistake Soon after their night together, Molly starts to receive letters in her mailbox that Finn had written to her over the course of their relationship The letters ope...

How do I explain the level of emotions this book brought out of me I went from heartbreak to longing to swooning and I am just in absolute awe of Devney Perry s writing This book starts off with the couple divorced and this is their second chance story There is something about a couple who made vows to each other, lost their way and then get the chance to find their way back to each other that just speaks to my heart Can I tell you how much Molly and Finn broke my heart Why wasn t love enough These two were obviously soul mates From their first encounter we see the chemistry and the connection that so many people will never find in their lifetime My heart hurt so much for them They had the perfect family with two beautiful children and they lost it They say hindsight is 20 20 and that s kind of the perspective we get with this story as Molly starts getting letters from Finn which he wrote over the span of their relationship from the very beginning up to the end We see how important communication is in a marriage and how the lack of can bring demise to any relationship I found...

An emotionally gripping second chance romance that will melt your heart and make you believe in love That s what Letters to Molly is I knew going in that I d be an emotional wreck while reading this book, but as it turns out, It was so much I couldn t put it down The story pulled me in and wouldn t let go Molly and Finn s story is phenomenal I d been waiting to see how it would play out and I was beyond impressed Here s what I loved The flow of the series is perfect The characters and events that took place in the last book are very much present here We not only get Cinn and Molly s story, but we see how things play out with Cole and Poppy. The characters jump off the page I must admit, Finn wasn t a favorite, but now I adore him Love him The story is emotional, heartbreaking at times, but always hopeful It s like real life romance Life is complicated and messy, but like this book, it s also beautiful It was unpredictable and caught me off guard That s always a huge wi...

4.5 beautiful stars Watch out Molly Todd I just might have to marry you Devney Perry has this unique ability of writing such beautiful stories with incredible heartfelt emotion and romance Her style of writing is flawless, her stories enthralling and emotionally haunting at times Her characters have real life issues, trials, and tribulations but they all have that one important thing in common, soul mate love It was heart breaking in parts, funny in others and so incredibly sweet and romantic too Some mistakes were unforgivable Some mistakes came with a regret that lived like a monster in your soul Letters to Molly begins at the end as it revisits the past and continues in the here and now It was brilliantly written in order for us to understand how Finn and Molly started where their story began We, of course, met them in The Birthday List as Poppy is Finns sister and Molly s best friend Whilst this can be read as a standalone we highly recommend reading book one in this series first as the emotional history is so relevant and so very poignant to this second book The letters might force us to deal with some old wounds, but we re not getting back together Finn and Molly s marriage sadly broke down at a tragic time yet both struggle to move on six years after t...

4.5 StarsWhen I met Finn and Molly in The Birthday List I was than enad with them The fact that Molly seemed to be the catalyst for the explosion of their marriage intrigued me I was so curious as to what exactly transpired between this couple, and I found myself already invested in their HEA, even though I had no idea that they would be getting a book So, when the announcement came that Letters to Molly, a companion novel to TBL, was coming, I was beyond happy Finn and Molly are special characters and their love story is layered by so many things At first, it s all heartbreak, the emotional upheaval and grittiness these characters have to wade thorough is tough You almost think there s no way they can get through it The damage inflicted by one thoughtless, reckless moment is too much Too painful Too overwhelming But then, in the same breath, you see the glimmers of hopefulness and healing, you begin to sense the sweet and tender and heartfelt feels simmering under the surface, and you just know that this couple can make it Letters to M...

Here s the deal.I am not usually drawn toward romance stories about the trials and tribulations of married life, or as the case may be divorced life It s a little too real life for me My sappy little romance loving heart is wildly addicted to fairytales and all the belly fluttering falling in love feelings that come with them But y all Devney Perry is some kind of magician Because this book is all of those things I usually try to avoid but it was sheer perfection.I mean, don t get me wrong It was uncomfortable sometimes There were things I didn t like and moments that were hard to read Things got raw and ugly at times in the exact way that they do in real life But the payoff for that was tremendous because beyond all that raw pain was this wonderful, honest, and simply stunning love story Ms Perry doesn t pull any punches with Molly and Finn s story I felt like nothing was sugar coated and all of the emotions were captured so perfectly and so authentically These characters were so flawed, yet it was impossibl...
